Markets & Assets
Environment and market availability
Market availability can differ between environments. Discover the markets enabled in your target environment through the API rather than hard-coding a market list.
Discovering markets at runtime
Enumerate the live perp markets and their parameters from the perpMarketDefinitions endpoint rather than hard-coding a list — new markets are added over time and per-market parameters can change. Each perp market has a symbol ending in RUSDPERP and a marketId.
Public configuration and live values
Use the REST endpoints below with your environment's base URL. These read-only requests do not require a wallet signature. Market definitions provide trading constraints; market summaries provide current calculated values.
Perpetual market identity, order increments and risk parameters
GET /v2/perpMarketDefinitions
symbol, marketId, minOrderQty, qtyStepSize, tickSize, initialMarginParameter, liquidationMarginParameter, maxLeverage, oiCap
Current perpetual mark price and funding rate
GET /v2/perpMarket/{symbol}/summary or GET /v2/perpMarkets/summary
markPrice, fundingRate, updatedAt, pricesUpdatedAt
For example, retrieve ETH's current summary:
curl --fail --silent --show-error \
https://api.reya.xyz/v2/perpMarket/ETHRUSDPERP/summaryFor streaming updates, use the corresponding market-summary channels in the WebSocket Info API. fundingRate is an hourly percentage, while markPrice is a price in rUSD; see Funding and Mark Price for interpretation.
API 3.6.2 does not expose the full pricing configuration: the impact notional, premium clamp, blending weights, EMA coefficient, funding interest term/clamp/cap, and settlement price-deviation band are not returned by these endpoints. The numerical examples in the pricing guides illustrate the formulas; do not treat them as current settings for every market. Use reported live values and handle order and settlement outcomes explicitly.
Collateral
The quote / counter currency is USDC, structured on-chain as rUSD — a wrapped-USDC token (1:1). Balances and fees are denominated in rUSD.
Open-interest caps
Each market has a global open-interest cap, exposed as the oiCap field on the perp market definition, set by governance and enforced on every trade — a trade that would push the market's aggregate OI past the cap is rejected. Key properties:
It's an aggregate cap across all accounts in the market — not a per-account or per-position limit.
It does not scale with leverage or position size; margin requirements are the only leverage-related control.
Read the current
oiCapper market from theperpMarketDefinitionsendpoint — values are revised as markets are (re)listed.
There are no per-account position limits — your size is bounded only by your margin and the market's OI cap.
